ACCOUNTABILITY
Editorial Team & Site Responsibility
Find a Recall is independently published and maintained. It is not a government service and does not issue or adjudicate recalls.
Publisher and site administrator
Irem is responsible for the site’s technical operation, source integrations, consumer-guide publishing, corrections workflow, and clear separation between agency-supplied records and Find a Recall’s own explanatory material.
Scope of expertise
The editorial role is to organize public records and explain a careful verification process. The site does not claim medical, legal, engineering, toxicology, or regulatory authority. Safety decisions should follow the current issuing-agency notice and appropriate qualified professionals.
How records and guides are reviewed
Imported fields retain the issuing agency and source link. Empty source fields are not guessed. Original guides are reviewed for clarity, source boundaries, and statements that could be mistaken for official instructions. Material corrections are made when the current official source supports them.
Contact and corrections
Email support@findarecall.net with the page URL, disputed statement, and supporting official source. For a government-record correction, contact the issuing agency as well.
