Imperio Distribution LLC Recalls Beef Jerky Products Produced Without the Benefit of Inspection
WASHINGTON, Oct. 24, 2026 - Imperio Distribution LLC, an Elgin, Ill. establishment, is recalling approximately 946 pounds of ready-to-eat (RTE) beef jerky products that were produced without the benefit of federal inspection and misbranded because of the unauthorized use of a USDA mark of inspection, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today. The RTE Beef jerky products were packaged January 2026, to October 2026. The following products are subject to recall [view labels]: 2 oz. sealed bag of "IMPERIO FUEGO BEEF JERKY (CARNE SECA)." 2 oz. sealed bag of "IMPERIO ORIGINAL BEEF JERKY (CARNE SECA)." 2 oz. sealed bag of "IMPERIO LIMÓN BEEF JERKY (CARNE SECA)." The products subject to recall include the unapproved use of another facility's mark of inspection, identified as establishment number "1885" inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were distributed to various retail locations in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, and Wisconsin. The problem was discovered during FSIS surveillance activities. There have been no confirmed reports of illness or injury due to consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about an illness or injury should contact a healthcare provider. Food produced without inspection may contain undeclared allergens, harmful bacteria, or other contaminants that put consumer health and safety at risk. FSIS is concerned that some products may be in consumer refrigerators or pantries or at various retailers. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase. FSIS routinely conducts recall effectiveness checks to verify recalling firms notify their customers of the recall and that steps are taken to make certain that the product is no longer available to consumers. Lithonia Lighting Recalls RSX Luminaires with Adjustable Tilt Arm Mountings Due to Risk of Serious Injury from Impact Hazard
This recall involves Luminaires with certain adjustable tilt mounting arms manufactured between August 2019 to July 2020 and August 2024 to April 2026: AASP, AARP, AAWB, and AAWSC. The adjustable tilt arm mounts the RSX luminaire to a square pole, round pole, wall bracket or wall bracket with surface mount conduit. The arm mount allows the luminaire to be tilted from 0 degrees to 90 degrees above horizontal. Consumers should contact Lithonia Lighting to confirm their Luminaire with adjustable tilt mounting arms are included in the recall.

Kayem Foods Inc. Recalls Meat and Poultry Products Due to Possible Temperature Abuse
WASHINGTON, Oct. 17, 2026 – Kayem Foods Inc., a Chelsea, Mass. establishment, is recalling approximately 1,584,361 pounds of ready-to-eat (RTE) meat and poultry products because they may have experienced temperature abuse during storage, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today. The RTE meat and poultry products items were produced approximately March 31, 2026, to Oct. 7, 2026. The following products, of various weights, are subject to recall: Recall 026-2026 product labels. View the list of products and UPC code numbers for products distributed from the Chelsea, Mass., location. The products subject to recall bear establishment numbers “EST. M/P 7839,” “EST. P 20935A” and “EST. M 9520” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to retail and foodservice locations Nationwide and Hong Kong. The problem was discovered after the firm received a retail customer complaint regarding warm product temperatures at point of delivery on October 1, 2026. The establishment investigated and determined that they stored various RTE meat and poultry products in a warehouse cooler that experienced temperature deviations. There have been no confirmed reports of illness due to consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about an illness should contact a healthcare provider. FSIS is concerned that some product may be in consumers’ refrigerators. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them.
